We've met many new friends On The Green Line!

Well, I have to say that in the last few months we've met so many wonderful business owners on the Green Line (Central Corridor). Recently, we had the pleasure to meet a couple of additional friends.

They call Twin Cities Reptiles their home and it seems to me it's a little more like a reptile museum.

Our photographer was actually walking in the room that these little fellas were housed in, and other than a really old turtle that kept sneaking over to charge him, in a turtle sort of way, they were all pretty friendly creatures.

If you've never been in to see this place, you're going to want to set aside an hour and bring the whole family!

Jai Does Amazing Thai!

It's true, the Little Mekong restaurant, called Bangkok Cuisine, might be small, but the flavors are enormous! Some of my favorites include, the Curry Fried Rice with tofu, the Curry Pad Thai and the Peanut Noodle Curry. Owner Jai Vang and his family are so friendly and accommodating. You're welcomed the second you walk through the door and they're gratefulness is evident.

Mod Takes a Stand

Here's something found in the Mod neighborhood that any true American can get behind and, in fact, we believe will garner full bipartisan support in the coming election.

Real patriots support Sasquatch.

Travel & Leisure names Frogtown One of Top 12 Best Neighborhoods for Ethnic Food!

Here at MOD, we've been exploring Frogtown and neighboring Little Mekong as we've begun the marketing campaign to promote the businesses affected by light rail construction. It looks like Travel & Leisure has discovered the area, too, as Frogtown was named one of the top 12 Best Neighborhoods for Ethnic Food. I must say, I agree! There are so many restaurants, we still haven't experienced them all!

MOD launches new program to Support Green Line Businesses

A cash mob of sorts, Go Green Line Fridays is the new program launched by MOD to help support Green Line (Central Corridor) businesses affected by light rail construction. Each Friday a new business is featured. Whether it be a lunch, a happy hour or a shopping excursion, Go Green Line Fridays works to give the featured business a little boost.

It works like this:

  1. Sign up here to receive Go Green Line Fridays featured business notifications arriving each Wednesday in your mailbox.
  2. You'll receive a reminder on Thursday evening or Friday morning.
  3. Show up and spend your green on the green at the featured business of the week.
It's simple! And you've helped support a Green Line business.
